Biography

BLEONA is the quintessential music artist that has already conquered audiences worldwide and now is set for her U.S. triumph.

She is currently in studio with various top producers including Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Harvey Douglas, Jukebox, Jimmy Douglas and Makeba.

Bleona is the first southeastern European artist to sell over 800,000 albums, setting a record that has yet to be broken.

She is the first Albanian artist on iTunes and all of her albums and singles in that region have gone to #1. (Complete list is on Discography page).

Since its release, her most popular music video, “Mandarin” has reigned as one of the top requested videos ever on European Music Television for four years running.

Born in Albania on May 14th 1985, raised and educated in Western Europe with a BA degree in acting, Bleona has been performing since she was five, winning numerous, international song contests which has led to her fame as both a singer and performer throughout Europe.

Her popularity onstage, online, through television and countless magazine covers continue to attract adoring fans ranging from teenage girls to government dignitaries and royalty including the Royal families of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, Prince Albert of Monaco and the Prime Minister of Albania as well as international business leaders including Roberto Cavalli, Emilio Pucci, Ermano Scervino and Donald Trump who requested her performance for a fundraising event at Mar-A-Lago.

Her countless tours throughout the world have resulted in over 2.5 million international concert fans. Her DVD, “Nje xhiro neper Shqiperi” (Walking Through Albania) documented Bleona’s outdoor concerts averaging 20 -30,000 fans in each city. The tour finale in Albania’s capital, Tirana attracted 100,000 fans despite a relentless rain that continued throughout the evening.

A recent headline performance in Istanbul played to a sold-out crowd of 25,000 where she performed all songs …in English.

Events such as these have expanded Bleona’s reputation as a successful, international performer capable of impressing any audience, also proven by her numerous tour throughout Germany, London, Switzerland, Italy, New York and more, with each crowd averaging 10 – 20,000 Bleona fans.
